Care Assure provides NDIS Supported Independent Living across greater Hobart, with homes in Glenorchy, Kingston, and Moonah. Every SIL home has registered nurse oversight of care plans and support workers on shift around the clock.
What is (SIL)?
Supported Independent Living is NDIS funding for the support workers who help you live day to day, whether in a shared home or your own place. It pays for the people, not the property. In Hobart, Care Assure delivers SIL in three supported homes across the northern and southern suburbs, close to Royal Hobart Hospital and the city.
Support ranges from a few hours a week to 24-hour care. What you receive depends on your NDIS plan and the support level assessed for you. Our team talks this through with you before anything is agreed.

Care Assure runs three Supported Independent Living homes across Greater Hobart. Each has a registered nurse overseeing care plans and trained support workers on shift.
- Glenorchy: Inner northern Hobart, strong public transport, close to Royal Hobart Hospital and local shops.
- Kingston: Southern Hobart, a family-friendly suburb with full amenity access and a quieter setting.
- Moonah: Inner northern Hobart, well connected by bus, close to services and the city centre.

How to Apply for SDA in Adelaide
Moving into an SDA home takes four steps, from confirming your funding to moving in. Care Assure guides you through each stage and can support your NDIS evidence and plan review.
Confirm your NDIS plan includes SIL under Core Supports. Your plan manager or support coordinator can check in minutes.

We coordinate with your previous provider and manage the transition so nothing falls through the gaps.
