Tasmania has fewer registered NDIS providers than any mainland state, and that shows up in waiting times, in how far people travel for support, and in how often participants are told a service is not available in their area.
Care Assure operates supported homes across greater Hobart, in Glenorchy, Claremont, Kingston, Rokeby, Old Beach and Magra, and delivers support north to Launceston. Our teams work from within the areas they cover, which matters in a state where the geography does the rest of the work against you.
NDIS Services We Deliver in Tasmania
Care Assure delivers a full range of NDIS services across Tasmania, from daily support at home to nurse-governed clinical care. Which ones you can access depends on what your plan funds, and we can help you work that out.
Supported Independent Living
Daily support in a shared or individual home, covering personal care, medication, meals, household routines and everyday living skills. Funded through Core Supports.
Respite Care
Supported short stays through Short Term Accommodation, and longer transitions through Medium Term Accommodation. Accommodation, personal care, meals and activities included.
In Home Care
Personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, overnight support and community access, delivered in your own home rather than a facility.
Community Participation
Support to join social groups, volunteer, learn new skills and build confidence getting out. Funded through Core Supports or Capacity Building.
Complex Care
High intensity clinical support under registered nurse care plan governance, including enteral feeding, tracheostomy, catheter and stoma care, and epilepsy management.
Hospital Discharge Support
Accommodation, equipment and daily supports arranged before discharge day, so you are not waiting at home for services to catch up.
SDA housing is provided by Care Casa, our SDA provider partner, with Care Assure delivering the daily support inside. That means housing and support are arranged together rather than through two unrelated organisations.

Where We Deliver in Tasmania

- Hobart: Our Tasmanian base. The full service range across greater Hobart, on both sides of the Derwent.
- Glenorchy: Support across the northern suburbs, close to Royal Hobart Hospital and city services.
- Kingston: Support through Kingborough, including Blackmans Bay and Margate.
- Rokeby: Support across the eastern shore, including Howrah, Bellerive and Lauderdale.
- Claremont: Support in the northern suburbs, including Berriedale and Austins Ferry.
- Old Beach: Support through Brighton and the Derwent Valley approaches.
- Magra: Support in the Derwent Valley, where provider coverage is limited.
- Launceston: Support across northern Tasmania, including Kings Meadows, Newstead, Riverside and Prospect Vale.

A Registered NDIS Provider
Care Assure is registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, which means we are independently audited against the NDIS Practice Standards rather than self-declaring competence. You can verify this on the Commission's public provider register.
From 1 July 2026, every provider delivering SIL supports must be registered and meet the new SIL Practice Standards. Care Assure already meets them, so nothing changes for participants already with us. If you are currently with an unregistered provider, it is worth asking them directly where they are up to.
